Employment and Support Allowance

Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) was introduced on 27 October 2008, and replaced Incapacity Benefit and Income Support, paid because of an illness or disability, for new customers only. It has been designed to help you achieve your full potential and help you to gain independence from benefits. Find out more about Employment and Support allowance.

Disability Living Allowance

Tax Credits

For your household to be eligible for tax credits, you and /or your partner must be aged 16 or over and usually live in the UK. You may still qualify if you do not live in the UK. Find out more about Tax Credits (this will take you to the HM Revenue & Customs website).

Severe Disablement Allowance
